Mariya Ignatyeva, Professor of Landscape Architecture, is known in academic and professional circles in Russia, Australia, Sweden, New Zealand and the USA.

Mariya’s main research interests are urban ecology (urban biodiversity and design), environmental design, history of landscape architecture and restoration of historic gardens and parks.

She is a Member of AILA, IFLA and the President of URBIO (Urban Biodiversity and Design).

Mariya Evgeniyevna’s books and articles as well as her completed landscape architecture projects have received recognition in many countries around the world.
